Individual Therapy

One of the deepest joys and honors of my work is learning a client’s history and understanding their experiences and unique identity. I focus on clients’ inherent strengths and resilience rather than on pathologizing them. I work with clients who have reservations about therapy or who are trying therapy for the first time as well as those who are highly motivated and ready for personal growth and change. Core elements of my approach include multicultural awareness and sensitivity, honest interpersonal feedback, and a balance of support and challenge.

Therapy may be especially helpful during times when the burdens of life are more than you can handle and you feel alone and misunderstood.  You may even be questioning what you know about yourself.

Therapy may be especially helpful during times when the burdens of life are more than you can handle and you feel alone and misunderstood.  You may even be questioning what you know about yourself.

Skilled support can assist in better understanding yourself and what you're facing. This greater understanding and awareness enables you to make choices, change burdensome patterns, and develop and utilize new skills and strengths.

As a counseling psychologist, I offer a trained ear and warm, supportive environment in which we can work to better understand your identity, experiences, and challenges. I help you unearth new insights that provide strength to expand confidence, peace, and fulfillment.

I provide therapy for people experiencing a variety of difficult circumstances, from stressful life transitions to long-term challenges including anxiety, unfulfilling relationship patterns, and trauma. My approaches center around incorporating experiential and mind-body approaches for deeper work and long lasting changes.

I am honored to support you along this journey of healing and growth.
